Define danger! I’ve had a few white-knuckle moments — a wrong turn in an unfamiliar city, a flight that had no business landing in that weather, and one very aggressive seagull in Seattle. Nothing I’d trade though. The close calls make the best stories.

2. What drove you to become a travel blogger?

Honestly, my children. You only have so much time on this earth to spend with family. Why not make the most of it and document it for future generations to look back on and remember that Dad loved to take us places.
